2022 Annual Conference
A Great Regional Conference. Great Lakes ALSB is offering an in-person conference for 2022. The University of Akron will serve as host of the Great Lakes ALSB 2022 Conference on October 20-21, 2022. Please join us in making this Great Lakes ALSB 2022 Conference memorable by registering today.
The annual meetings provide great opportunities to interact with colleagues interested in business law-related subjects. Presentations occur in a cordial and supportive environment.
Great Lakes ALSB is looking forward to increasing the level of involvement by students and faculty from diverse disciplines. Colleagues from accounting (e.g., tax, forensic, IFRS conversion), management (e.g., executive compensation, corporate governance, labor law), finance (e.g., complex financial instruments, securities and banking regulation), marketing (e.g., anticompetitive practices, trademarks, privacy vs. social media), information systems (e.g., identity theft, legal issues in cloud computing), economics (regulation of monopolies, protection of intellectual property), human resources, and other areas are often heavily engaged in legal topics. Encouraging multidisciplinary collaboration and scholarship is a high priority for us.
